Additional Information	Shoreic acid exhibits antibacterial activity against E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, and B. subtilis with activity indices (AI) of 0.2, 0.3, 0.5 and 0.4, respectively, it also shows antifungal activity against C. albicans and T. mentagrophytes with AI of 0.2 and 0.3, respectively. Shoreic acid shows activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Shoreic acid also has antiviral activity against Herpes simplex virus types I and II in vitro.
