Inclusion Body Solubilization Reagent

The Inclusion Body Solubilization Reagent dissolves inclusion body aggregates resulting from the expression of recombinant proteins in bacteria. This reagent has demonstrated exceptional ablility to solubilize inclusion bodies. Once dissolved, proteins can be analyzed by SDS-PAGE, quantified or further purified for refolding.

Inclusion bodies can be released from bacterial cells using Norgen's Cell Lysis Reagent (available separately). Norgen's Inclusion Body Protein Isolation Kits can also be used as complete kits for  cell disruption, inclusion body solubilisation and purification using spin column chromatography

Figure 1: Efficient Isolation of Inclusion Body Proteins Using Norgen's Cell Lysis Reagent and Inclusion Body Solubilization Reagent. Numbers represent kDa sizes of protein bands. Inclusion Bodies were extracted and solubilized following gene expression. Recovered proteins were analyzed on 12% SDS-PAGE and stained with Coomassie Brilliant Blue R-250.
