Pick by input and concentration.

1. Input type. Post-PCR, gel-slice, RT product, IVT, bisulfite-treated each have specific buffer chemistry needs.
2. Output size range. Size-selective bead protocols enable specific fragment-size retention for NGS prep.
3. Concentration capability. Some kits concentrate 200 microliters to 10 microliters. Others give equal-volume elution.
4. Downstream compatibility. NGS-grade purity stricter than PCR-grade.
5. Low-input recovery. For low-input applications choose kits validated at that scale.
