CUT&RUN kits, antibodies and controls for chromatin profiling
CUT&RUN (Cleavage Under Targets and Release Using Nuclease) uses antibody-directed micrococcal nuclease cleavage to profile histone modifications, transcription factors and other chromatin-associated proteins. CUTANA workflows combine core assay reagents with target-appropriate antibodies, controls and sequencing library preparation. Choose the components that match your target, antibody and sample input.
Choose the components for your CUT&RUN workflow
| Component | Role in the workflow | Selection guidance |
|---|---|---|
| CUTANA CUT&RUN Kit | Core reagents for antibody-directed chromatin cleavage and DNA recovery. | Start here for a complete CUT&RUN assay workflow. |
| CUTANA-compatible antibodies | Recognition of histone PTMs or chromatin-associated targets. | Check target specificity, CUT&RUN validation and host species/isotype. |
| SNAP-CUTANA controls | Spike-in controls for assessing assay performance and, for suitable panels, antibody specificity or normalization. | Choose a control panel appropriate for the target and experiment. |
| CUTANA library preparation | Conversion of recovered DNA fragments into sequencing libraries. | Select a library-preparation workflow compatible with the assay and sequencing platform. |
| Core reagents and consumables | Individual components for established or customized workflows. | Use when replacing or supplementing components rather than starting with a complete kit. |
Antibody compatibility and controls
Antibody performance is central to CUT&RUN data quality. Select antibodies with CUT&RUN-specific validation wherever possible, and check whether protein A- or protein A/G-based nuclease recruitment is appropriate for the antibody species and isotype. SNAP-CUTANA spike-in controls can help assess experimental performance and distinguish assay-related issues from antibody-specific limitations.
