  3. RT enzyme. Match enzyme to your downstream qPCR (sensitivity, fidelity, GC tolerance).
  4. qPCR compatibility. Verify the resulting cDNA is compatible with your master mix.
  5. miRNA. For miRNA detection separate stem-loop or polyA-tailed RT chemistry is required; standard cDNA synthesis misses mature miRNAs.
