Description
Stellaris® FISH Probes, Mouse Vip with Quasar® 570 consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions.
Designed to detect Vip transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).
Design Criteria
Product was designed against vasoactive intestinal polypeptide Vip a.k.a. N/A (NCBI gene ID:22353) and nucleotides 1-1527 of NM_011702.2 . This is an inclusive probe set designed to also detect the following variants: XM_006512445.1, XM_006512446.1, XM_006512447.1, and XM_006512448.1.
The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

- Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max): 495 nm
- Fluorescence Maximum: 520 nm
Product Usage
Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles.
For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month.
For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month.
