Stellaris® FISH Probes, Mouse Rbfox3 with CAL Fluor® Red 590
Description
Stellaris® FISH Probes, Mouse Rbfox3 with CAL Fluor® Red 590 consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions.
Designed to detect Rbfox3 transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).
Design Criteria
Product was designed against RNA binding protein, fox-1 homolog (C. elegans) 3 Rbfox3 a.k.a. NeuN; Fox-3; Hrnbp3; Neuna60 (NCBI gene ID:52897) and nucleotides 409-513, 554-808, 812-1001, 1095-1342, 1484-1665 of NM_001039167.1. This is an inclusive probe set design to detect the following variants: NM_001024931.2, NM_001039167.1, NM_001039168.1, NM_001285436.1, NM_001285437.1, NM_001285438.1, XM_006533722.2, XM_006533725.2, XM_006533726.2, XM_006533727.2, XM_011249129.1, XM_011249130.1, XM_011249131.1, and partly the ill supported XM_011249132.1.
The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.
Fluorescence Parameters
- Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max): 647 nm
- Fluorescence Maximum: 670 nm
Product Usage
Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles.
For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month.
For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month.
