Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human UPK1A with Quasar® 570
Description
Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human UPK1A with Quasar® 570 consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions.
Designed to detect UPK1A transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).
Design Criteria
Product was designed against uroplakin 1A UPK1A a.k.a. UP1A; UPIA; UPKA; TSPAN21 (NCBI gene ID:11045) and nucleotides 1-1223 of NM_007000.2. This is an inclusive probe set designed to also detect the following variants: NM_001281443.1, NM_007000.3
The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.
Fluorescence Parameters
- Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max): 618 nm
- Fluorescence Maximum: 637 nm
Product Usage
Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles.
For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month.
For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month.
