Description

Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human MIAT with Quasar® 670 consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions.

Designed to detect MIAT transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).

Design Criteria

Product was designed against myocardial infarction associated transcript MIAT a.k.a. GOMAFU, RNCR2, C22orf35, LINC00066 (NCBI gene ID:440823) and nucleotides 331-1737, 1864-10184 of NR_003491.3. This is an inclusive probe set designed to detect the following variants: NR_003491.3, NR_033319.2, NR_033320.2, NR_033321.2

The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Fluorescence Parameters

  • Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max): 569 nm
  • Fluorescence Maximum: 591 nm

Product Usage

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles.

For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month.

For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month.
