Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human EML4_5_intron with Quasar® 570 Dye
Description
Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human EML4_5_intron with Quasar® 570 Dye consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions.
Designed to detect EML4 transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).
Design Criteria
Product was designed against echinoderm microtubule associated protein like 4 EML4 a.k.a. C2orf2; ELP120; EMAP-4; EMAPL4; ROPP120 (NCBI gene ID:27436) and nucleotides 42396775-42404776 of NC_000002.11. This is an exclusive and inclusive probe set designed to detect wild type AML4 pre-mRNAs, and 5' fusion mRNAs (e.g. EML4-ALK).
The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.
Fluorescence Parameters
- Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max): 618 nm
- Fluorescence Maximum: 637 nm
Product Usage
Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles.
For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month.
For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month.
