Protein Microarrays for Autoantibody Profiling and Interaction Screening

Protein microarrays for autoantibody profiling and protein interaction screening

Protein microarrays present recombinant human proteins at defined positions on a glass slide, so you can probe a serum or plasma sample against many targets in one experiment. Autoimmune disease IgG autoantibody arrays are available in multiple sample-kit formats, including 8- and 16-sample kits, letting you profile autoantibodies linked to autoimmune conditions from a single serum experiment. Serum IgG from a patient binds to the subset of printed proteins it recognises, so you can compare the resulting binding pattern against healthy controls or disease cohorts. Larger custom and receptor protein arrays, covering hundreds of human receptors, are available on request for your target list.

Pick by content.

  1. Array content. Whole-proteome arrays for unbiased screening versus focused panels for specific protein classes.
  2. Assay format. Binding partner discovery versus enzyme substrate profiling.
  3. Sample volume. 50 to 200 microliters typical.
  4. Scanner compatibility. Standard microarray scanners work for most formats.
  5. Confirmation. After array discovery confirm hits by orthogonal methods (SPR, ITC, co-immunoprecipitation) before publishing.

RayBiotech supplies protein arrays in this inventory.
