Membrane-based Arrays (C-Series)
Membrane Antibody Arrays for Semi-Quantitative Cytokine and Growth Factor Screening
Membrane antibody arrays for semi-quantitative cytokine, chemokine and growth factor screening
Membrane antibody arrays let you screen multiple cytokines, chemokines, and growth factors at the same time from serum, plasma, or conditioned media, without dedicated quantitative equipment. Capture antibodies are printed at defined spots on nitrocellulose membranes, and after sample incubation a matched biotinylated detection antibody cocktail forms an antibody-antigen-antibody sandwich, developed with streptavidin-HRP and a chemiluminescent or colorimetric substrate for a readout comparable to a western blot exposure. Panels range from as few as 10 targets up to 274 simultaneous analytes on a single membrane, need no special scanner, and use sample volumes comparable to a single ELISA. Results are semi-quantitative, with spot density reflecting relative protein expression for direct comparison between conditions run on the same membrane.
Pick by panel and readout.
- Panel. 40 to 1,000+ analytes. Balance panel breadth against sample volume.
- Species. Human, mouse, rat.
- Readout. Film for legacy. CCD imager for cleaner quantitative-comparable readout.
- Confirmation. C-Series gives relative changes. Confirm top hits by ELISA or Luminex before publishing absolute concentrations.
RayBiotech leads with the broadest C-Series catalogue.
