High resolution melt analysis kits for genotyping and mutation scanning
High resolution melt (HRM) analysis kits provide the reagents needed to detect sequence variation by monitoring the melting behaviour of PCR amplicons in real time. You can use HRM to screen for single nucleotide polymorphisms, small insertions and deletions, and methylation differences without sequencing every sample. Because it is performed directly after PCR on a real-time instrument, HRM offers a closed-tube method for genotyping and mutation scanning across large sample sets.
