| Target Background | Tartrate-resistant acid phosphatases (TRAPIACPS) are metallic enzymes belonging to the acid phosphatase group that catalyze the conversion of orthophosphate monomers into alcohols and orthophosphates.It is a ferriglycoprotein synthesized with a 35kd monomeric proenzyme.ACP5 is involved in bone resorption and is secreted by active osteoclasts.1 Dephosphorylation of osteopontin, a bone matrix protein, subsequently promotes osteoclast detachment and migration.In colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, melanoma and other cancers,ACP5 expression is associated with tumor progression.In vitro experiments have shown that down-regulated expression of ACP5 can promote the proliferation and invasion of tumor cells in colorectal cancer cell lines.In senum, ACPS has been used as a marker for thyroid metastasis, and in addition, Acps removes the lysosomal protein as a recognition marker for mannose 6-phosphate.Tartrate-resistant acid phosphatases (TRAPIACPS) are metallic enzymes belonging to the acid phosphatase group that catalyze the conversion of orthophosphate monomers into alcohols and orthophosphates.
