AAViralEntry Transduction Enhancer (100X)

This unique, proprietary viral transduction enhancer consists of polymers of short fatty acids with a mild positively charged residue along the acid side chain. The positive charge has been proven to interact with both different serotypes of recombinant AAV virus and the target cell membrane to enhance recombinant AAV transduction in various target cells. Thus the presence of AAViralEntry™ Transduction Enhancer significantly increases recombinant AAV virus interaction with its target cells.

This product has been tested only for recombinant AAV virus applications and therefore is not suitable for other types of recombinant virus, including both lentivirus and adenovirus.

Performance Data

Figure 1. abm's AAViralEntry™ Transduction Enhancer is effective at increasing AAV transduction efficiency. 20-30% confluent adherent HEK293T cells were infected with 5µl of Scrambled AAV siRNA Control Virus (Serotype 2) (Cat. No. iAAV01502) in the absence (A) or presence (B) of AAViralEntry™ Transduction Enhancer (Cat. No.G516). GFP images were taken 24hrs post infection.
