qPCR Lentivirus Titer Kit is a one-step assay by qPCR which does not require additional lysis or reverse transcription (RT) steps, and can be completed under one hour. Designed to deliver high sensitivity and specificity, the kit ensures minimal non-specific background and better overall performance compared to similar kits on the market. ROX reference dye is provided separate from the MasterMix, making this kit universally compatible with most qPCR instruments.

Information for Regular Users

The standard DNA concentration for the qPCR Lentivirus Titer Kit was updated and will range from 10³ to 10⁶ instead of 10⁶ to 10⁹. Please refer to the data sheet for details on the protocol. This update is due to the following benefits: 

• Less handling of standard curve dilutions.
• A less concentrated standard DNA prevents cross-contamination. In sensitive assays such as qPCR, positive controls can easily give false positives to sample wells when not handled properly. 
• Increased PCR efficiency.

qPCR Lentivirus Titer Kit comes with a separate vial of ROX Reference Dye which can be added depending on the qPCR machine type, as listed in the table below.
