Product Description

Binding assays are suitable for studying receptor-ligand or drug-target interactions, as e.g. Spike-receptor interactions that facilitate SARS-CoV-2 viral entry into host cells. Using an ELISA-like format, the protein or small molecule of interest is coated on a 96-well microplate and potential inhibitors are then added in the presence of the interacting molecule. This assay enables rapid, high throughput, in-vitro screening of potential inhibitors. 

The Binding Assay Testing Service can be performed using stocked assay kits or with a custom assay.
