Reporter cell lines for measuring gene expression and pathway activity
Reporter cell lines carry a reporter gene linked to a promoter or response element of interest, so activation of that genetic element produces a measurable signal such as luminescence or fluorescence. You can use them to monitor transcriptional activity, pathway signalling, or the effect of a treatment on a specific gene regulatory element in a live-cell format. Because the readout is quantitative, these lines support high-throughput screening as well as detailed mechanistic studies. They are available for a wide range of pathways and regulatory elements depending on the research question.
