Fluorescent cell lines for live-cell imaging and tracking studies
Fluorescent cell lines express one or more fluorescent proteins, either constitutively or under the control of a specific promoter, allowing cells to be visualised directly without additional staining. You can use them for live-cell imaging, tracking cell migration or division, or confirming successful transfection and clonal selection. Because the fluorescent signal is genetically encoded, it is maintained across passages and can be combined with other markers for multicolour experiments. These lines are widely applied in cell biology, developmental biology, and drug discovery workflows.
