Cas9 and dCas9 expressing cell lines for genome editing and CRISPR screens
These cell lines stably express Cas9 nuclease or catalytically dead Cas9 (dCas9), providing a ready background for genome editing or CRISPR-based gene regulation experiments. You introduce a guide RNA to direct Cas9 to a target sequence for knockout, or pair dCas9 with effector domains for CRISPR interference or activation studies, without needing to deliver the Cas9 component separately. This simplifies workflow for arrayed or pooled CRISPR screens and reduces variability introduced by transient Cas9 expression. Lines are available across a range of cell backgrounds to suit different experimental models.
